Does it just catch the seams because they are upturned a bit or is it simply making contact with the flat area of the fender liners due to the size or offset? Also what size tires are you using up front? And could you post your ride height if you have measured it? Reason I ask is because I was giving some real thought to buying a set of 18's this winter and would like to fill out the fronts as much as possible but I am very weary of rubbing upfront. Of course ride height has a lot to do with it, but I had rubbing where the seams were getting rubbed by the treads because they were slightly upturned from age and needed to be trimmed down. I also noticed the metal tab that sits atop the fender lip had cut a nice groove into the corner treadblocks on one tire as a result of some "incidental opposite lock" during a track day. Something that wouldnt happen under normal circumstances. I think the wheels look awesome on your car, suit red PERFECTLY (Maglito does have excellent taste) and has the timing been a bit better, I would have tried to beat you out for them that day. So if you dont mind sharing whatever you can here for me and anyone else to see as far as specifics in sizes and heights and results, that would be great. Those wheels are pushing the edge of what will fit properly and while I could just go the easy route and get 18" wheels/tires that are known to clear easy, I'd prefer to not leave too much "on the table" so to speak, and get as much rubber and wheel on the road as possible. I could email you, but I'm sure others at later times would like the info out there as well. Thanks, and congrats!
